Geek Stuff

I guess first we should define what a geek is and the differences between nerds and geeks. I think one of my networking instructors put it best when he said, "Geeks have a choice."

 The following chart provides an attractive and somewhat accurate illustration:
I took this from our friends at Cheezeburger.com
Besides beer, we have a lot of other geeky things that we're in to and will discuss on the show. Here's a short list:
Role-Playing Games (Dungeons & Dragons, Shadowrun, Rifts, Hackmaster, Pathfinder, GURPS, Champions, Villains & Vigilantes, etc.);
Science Fiction (Star Trek, Star Wars, Farscape, BSG, B5, Firefly/Serenity, Stargate, etc.)
Fantasy;
Comics;
Video Games;
Medieval Recreationism;
Cosplay;
Movies;
Television;
Anime & Cartoons;
Books;
Music;
Theater (the kind where you go watch people act live and in person up on a stage.);
Mixed Martial Arts;
Wrestling;
and the list goes on.

Naturally, we won't be able to cover all of these things on every show, but expect at least a couple of them to be discussed.
